Crushing Out Work I’ve Produced

As promised in my first entry, I’ll be showing some of my own work in this blog. So, I suppose it’s about time.

Here’s a link to MuchMusic AXS. When you get there, watch “Dirty” by Econoline Crush. My good friend Justin Tyler Close directed this video and myself and my other friend Jeremy Regimbal were the producers. The production ran through our company Lucid City Pictures.

I produced this music video in early December 2007. We shot 2 videos over three days. The videos act as a 2 part story. “Dirty” is first released and the second part is coming out in February.

While the visual effects in this video may not be of ILM quality (we wanted them subtle), I’m happy with how it turned out. In fact, I did the post-production compositing and vfx myself out of my business partner’s office.

I’ve also embedded the YouTube video onto this blog. However, whoever posted it on YouTube used a dark version so check out the Much AXS one if you can.

You can also see it at Econoline Crush’s myspace. For those who don’t know, the band is on a killer cross-country tour.
