News from Set

Visual effects (vfx) in media are just plain cool. Since Harryhausen (if you don’t know who he is, stay tuned to this blog and you will soon), things have come a very long way. This blog will explore the past, present and future of the exciting field of vfx in film.

But I won’t just be giving updates about professional industry work. I’ll also keep you updated with what I’m doing. I’ll be working on 2-4 separate music videos that should all be finished by April.

I’ll start you off with a music video that I’ve always been a big fan of. It’s by one of my heroes, Dougal Wilson of the production company Colonel Blimp. I have 2 major theories for how this was executed. Have any ideas? I’ll tell you mine next update.
